Richmond Middle and High School will have our annual open house on Tuesday, September 10th from 5:00-700PM. From 5:00-5:30 PM, we will have a short informational meeting in the cafeteria where we will introduce the new superintendent, provide you with an overview of how Infinite Campus (our online gradebook) can be used to monitor your student’s progress, and give you a quick overview of the new grading system. From 5:30-7:00, teachers will be in their classrooms for an informal meet and greet and for parents to get information on their students’ courses. We look forward to seeing you! RMHS Open House: September 10th, 5:00PM-7:00PM

I hope everyone has a happy Labor Day weekend! Just a reminder: Tuesday, September 3rd, is the first day of school for grades 6 and 9 only. This is an orientation day for 6th and 9th graders. We will follow an orientation schedule on this day, so it is not a maroon or white day. Wednesday, September 4th is the first day for all grades (this will be a maroon day). Students will begin the day in advisory and be given an up-to-date copy of their schedule in case any changes have occurred. We look forward to seeing all our wonderful students back in our building!

Dear Richmond Parents and Guardian I want to let you know that we are aware of the shelter in place in Topsham that some of you are calling about. Karl Matulis and I have been in contact with Chief Donnell to assess the need for us to take any action here in Richmond. At this time, we are being advised to maintain normal activity but be situationally aware and vigilant. We will stay in contact with the Chief, closely monitor the situation, and take further action to ensure the safety of our students if needed. Thank you, Mary Paine Action Superintendent (through 11/11) Principal, MBES
