We’re excited to launch our official online Richmond Bobcat apparel store in collaboration with Soccer Post!
This store is part of a fundraiser for our Building Excellence Fund, supporting ongoing improvements for our school community.
The plan is to keep the store open year-round, with new items added a few times a year as supplies allow. It’s a great way to show your Bobcat pride and support Richmond Schools!

Thanks to the generous contributions of several Richmond community members, we are proud to unveil the brand-new Bobcat Flagpole—now standing tall behind home plate at Richmond Middle/High School's baseball field!
The flagpole, proudly topped with our Bobcat mascot, was officially dedicated last night before the quarterfinal playoff game.
The Maine Army National Guard, American Legion Post 132, the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department, and the Richmond Police Department had the honor of presenting the very first flag to be raised.
We are so grateful to our community for making this lasting symbol possible. #BobcatPride

Playoff time, Bobcats!
The quarterfinals are set for Thursday, June 12.
Softball hits the road to take on St. Dom’s.
Baseball hosts Searsport right here at home.
Both games start at 4:00 PM. Come out and show your support for our student athletes and support the Boosters by visiting the snack shack—let’s go, Bobcats!

Congratulations to the Richmond High School Class of 2025!
It was standing room only on Saturday as the Bobcat community came out in full force to celebrate this amazing group of graduates. We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and excited to see what comes next for each of you.

Yesterday, June 5, four Richmond School Department employees—Kelly Hayes, Becca Redman, Rebecca Lovejoy, and Jill Rybarczyk—along with town employee James Valley, proudly completed the Richmond leg of the 2025 Maine Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics!
They were supported by Officer Decker and Chief Donnell as they ran up Route 201 to hand the torch off to the Gardiner PD.
The Torch Run is a tradition that unites law enforcement officers and community members across the state to raise awareness and support for Special Olympics Maine. The Flame of Hope is carried through towns across Maine to symbolize inclusion, acceptance, and the incredible strength of Special Olympics athletes.
Way to go, Team Richmond!

A favorite senior week tradition: the Walk through Marcia Buker Elementary School.
With a police and fire escort leading the way, the Class of 2025 made their way over to MBES where they were cheered on by excited elementary students and many beloved former teachers. The halls were filled with high fives, hugs, and a happy tears as our seniors were celebrated by the school community that helped shape them.
This year’s walk was made even more special as the seniors paused to honor two very special staff members — Mrs. Vickie Merrill and Mrs. Cindy Reed, who are retiring this year. The seniors presented each of them with a rose, recognizing their dedication, kindness, and the countless lives they’ve impacted at Richmond Schools over the years.
Congrats again to the Class of 2025, and many thanks to Mrs. Merrill and Mrs. Reed! Good luck to you all in your future endeavors!
