Hello Families!
Field Day at Marcia Buker is tomorrow, Friday, June 12th, and I wanted to send out some information and reminders.
Field Day is for students, staff, and designated volunteers. For security reasons, we ask all others to come to the main office if there is a need to be on campus.
Our school dress code, copied in part below, applies on field day. There are water activities, so students may want to wear bathing suits under shorts and t-shirts or bring a change of clothes. Bathing suits are not to be worn alone. Thank you for helping your child with this.
Clothing
Wear clothing that covers the torso (chest, abdomen, pelvis, and back) to mid-thigh.
Tops should have attached sleeves or over-the-shoulder straps.
Sunscreen: Staff are not allowed to apply sunscreen on students, but students may apply their own.
Water bottle: With the high temps and humidity, please send your child with a water bottle.
Support our Backpack Food Program in partnership with Darlings! by sending in a donation if you are able. A donation is not required for your child to have an ice cream!
