Hello Marcia Buker Families!
We had a great week at school, the highlight of which was Family Reading Night on Thursday. Thanks to all the families who came out to join us and communicate to our children the joy and importance of reading! I will post photos from the evening in the near future.
This week features Parent-teacher conferences on Thursday. Follow this link for signup information. We hope to see you there! And we hope you will take a look at our ever-growing Lost and found table to see if anything belongs to your child.
Please be reminded that this Friday is an Early Release Day. Originally scheduled as a full workshop, the change to a half-day workshop/school day was made to avoid our last day of school landing too late in June. Please be aware that attendance on Early Release days is as important as on full days.
Wishing you a smooth transition to Daylight Savings Time,

From the PTG:
We were fortunate to have author Wendy Ulmer spend the day at MBES on Family-Reading-Night Thursday. If your kiddo is begging to get their hands on a book she read , you can visit Wendy's website. Go to "Books" and click on “Buy” to see a listing where you can purchase. Please reach out if you have any questions or aren’t sure which book was reviewed with your child’s grade. We are happy to help!
