Greetings Families!
I hope this finds you enjoying the warming sun and bountiful snow as we turn the corner and can begin imagining spring!
We have had a good beginning to February at school. Our students are working hard, having fun, and trying their best to follow the Bobcat Code of Conduct. In fact, it's been a remarkably smooth post-holiday transition, though it is safe to say that everyone will be ready for February break next week!
Between now and then, we will be kicking off the PTG Read-a-Thon; classrooms will be celebrating Valentine's Day; and we will have our first Winter Carnival, organized and hosted by the 5th Grade Leadership Team and Counselor Edson!
Looking beyond vacation week, you may want to mark your March calendar page with Family Reading Night on the 5th, and Parent Teacher conferences on the 12th. We will share more about these events soon, but we hope you will plan to join us!
Wishing you yummy appetizers this weekend,

PTG-Marcia Buker Read-a-Thon
The PTG’s annual Read-a-Thon fundraiser is kicking off next week on February 11th and will run through March 4th. During this time we encourage families to support their bobcats with reading time at home and assisting them with logging this time into the fundraiser platform. See the details below!
To up the ante this year, the PTG has partnered with local businesses to bring rewards to the highest reader in each grade. At Family Reading Night on March 5th, the student in each grade who has logged the most reading time will receive an award, including a $20 gift card to Barnes & Noble!
Thank you so much to our families and community for supporting this initiative, with a special thank you to: Carver Carpentry, Homestead Homes, Moose Mountain, K&G Hardware, MTN Sports & Fitness and Gary’s Quick Stop for their donations!
