Seasons Greetings Bobcat Families!
I hope this finds you looking forward to the long holiday weekend, which starts on Wednesday, November 26.
Since we will be coming back to school after we turn the calendar page, I am sending out the December menus and dates and just a few notes to end this month.
We ended November on a very positive note at school. It was great to see so many of you at conferences last Thursday. When a child's family shows an interest in their school life, it often sets the stage for a lifelong love of learning, and the good news is that there are many ways to be involved, even if you can't make it to all of our events!

In fact, the upcoming long weekend should provide many opportunities to talk with your child about what they are learning or to tie in reading, math, science, or social studies with holiday activities! Cooking together is an excellent way to incorporate many areas of learning, and most important, to create memories!
How ever you spend the holiday, I wish you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thanks once again to our amazing PTG and the community members who responded to their call to support! On conference night, which begins as soon as school lets out, staff were treated to a delicious taco-bar, an assortment of desserts, and even Margarita mocktails to add a little festivity to the evening.

PTG officers also took shifts at the Book Fair throughout the week, helping students find books and running the cash register. This was likely the most successful book fair ever; we'll let you know when we do how much we raised!

A very special thanks goes to Kerry Gardner and Ashely DeWever for organizing and managing the weeklong book fair. It's a lot of work and they make it look so easy!
