Greetings Families!
I hope your week is off to a great start. I have a few mid-week announcements to share with you.
Fire Prevention Week
During Fire Prevention week (10/5 -10/11), the Richmond Fire Department will be visiting Marcia Buker on Thursday, October 9. A big red fire engine will be on site for students to tour (so don't be alarmed if you see it). To culminate Fire Prevention Week, the Richmond Fire Department is hosting its annual Open House.
Four-day weekend (for students)
A reminder that there is no school for students this Friday or Monday. Friday is a staff workshop, and Monday is the Indigenous People Day holiday. I hope you can enjoy the long weekend!
Double Double...
Halloween + Family Math Night = double the fun
for grades K-5 and their families
Mark your calendars! We have decided to move Family Math Night out of the cold winter months and into October and combine math fun with Halloween fun! See details below!
